About Me
Right from the moment Omkar started his career in 2004, he knew he had a calling to work in the movies. With the guidance from the brilliant Director Kedar Shinde, his first film as an Asst. Director, 'Aga Bai Arechya' was well received by the audience.
After which, Omkar had an opportunity to work on more cinematic gems like Jatra, Yanda Kartavya Aahe, Bakula Namdev Ghotale and so on.
He expanded his portfolio as a 'Screenplay assistant' & 'Lyricist' for the film 'Galgale Nighale' (2008) thus branching out in the field of writing.

Passion for his work allowed him to manage his work as a screenplay and dialogue writer whilst venturing out as a director in-

'Kya Haal Mr. Panchaal' (2nd Unit Director)

Always on a look out for exciting new projects as a director, he is currently brewing some fantastic content as a screenplay writer.

While working as a post-production in-charge of many films, Omkar developed an interest in editing and also learned it. He worked on FCP (Final Cut Pro) as an editor for a year, in which He edited few Short Films, Documentaries, Corporate films & also edited Televise and theatrical Trailers of Marathi Movie - Irada Pakka.

Costume Stylist

Surprisingly, He also ventured as a Costume stylist for quite a few years. ​He worked for many successful Movies & Plays like - Shrimanta Damodarpant, Aga Bai Arechya 2, Murder Mestri. In the year 2015, He won a very precious and celebrated award, 'Zee Gaurav' as the Best Costume designer for the Play 'Dhan ta Dhand'
